The saga of Moseley Road Baths' scheduled reopening is now simply farcical. I am beginning to doubt that anything has been achieved at all, or that - despite constituents' clearly stated wishes - there is any political will whatsoever to reopen this facility.

Hi Anthony,

Apologies for the delay in contacting you. The themes for the exhibition are Moseley Road Baths, swimming and at a stretch, water. So, if you think you have any work that is relevant to those topics then please submit something to memories@friendsofmrb.co.uk.

We would also encourage former pupils from the School of Art to attend as there will be opportunity for people to record their memories of Moseley Road Baths! We know that a lot of pupils swam there and recall attending swimming galas at the pool.

As a former pupil of Moseley School of Art I would be interested in submitting paintings to your exhibition, but I specialise in wildlife art, this appears to be outside your remit, am I correct in my assumtion.

I was really sad to hear about the temp closure of such a fantastic swimming pool. I enjoyed going there because it is the closest one to the City Centre (easy to get to either by public transport or on foot. The fact the changing rooms are directly onto the pool are also a bonus. I hope it isnt too long before it reopens again. I look forward to swimming there in the near future
